Nylon ESd – Monocast Nylon feature a proprietary static control additive.
Notes – Do not use MC-ESD as an electric part of heat generation, contact point,or terminal.Nylon absorbs moisture or water in case of using under high hunmdity or in water and increases its size (by 2% at the maximum). when such use is necessary, please consult with DTM technical data and design appropriately.
Nylon has water absorption property and increases its size.Design adequately referring to MC technical Data.
Tech Tip – Nylon has relatively high moisture absorption compared with many other thermoplastics. Nylon parts that must perform in wet environments should be designed with tolerances that factor in dimensional changes due to moisture absorption.
