ESd Materials (Antistatic)

Semiconductor Grade Products 

The ESD Semiconductor Grade products were developed to help designers and users optimize the performance of device manufacturing equipment.  In addition to device manufacture, many of these materials are ideal for specific environments where wear-resistance, chemical-resistance and the management of static electricity are required.
 

Antistatic Grades– 
ESD-PTFE   offers an excellent combination of low frictional properties and dimensional stability. It is ideal for applications where controlled bleed off of static charges is critical. It is black in color.
ESD-PC  Sheet is a plastic sheet product that controls static electricity for many applications, including windows, doors, mini-environment glazing panels, and machine guards, covers and enclosures. This controls particulate attraction and prevents electrostatic discharge (ESD) events completely independent of humidity. It has superior impact resistance and flame-spread properties, plus excellent clarity, chemical resistance, and mar resistance. 
ESD-PVC , including enhanced bearing and wear Delrin® AF, Delrin® 100AF blend, Delrin® AF DE588, 
ESD-PMMA , including enhanced bearing and wear Delrin® AF, Delrin® 100AF blend, Delrin® AF DE588, 
ESD-UHMW , including enhanced bearing and wear Delrin® AF, Delrin® 100AF blend, Delrin® AF DE588, 
ESD-MC-R6 , Specialty grade for the applications which require good electro-static dissipative properties. Its internally added graphite leads the electric conductivity into a range between 105Ω ~ 109Ω.
ESD-MC-R10 , It offers excellent anti-static performances, exhibiting constant level of conductivity ranging between 109Ω ~ 1011Ω. The color is beige.

Tech Tip– Glass-filled grades of acetal offer enhanced strength and stiffness such as Delrin® 570.
 

ESD  (Antistatic)   MATERIALS    Stock Shapes for IC test socket
Size of the whisker is 130 nanometers in diameter and 2 microns in length, SCM-has a stable surface resistivity and an excellent finer machining possibility.
ESD-PEEK based static dissipative material provides a dissipative range of 106 - 109 ohms/sq.Dimensionally stable, making it ideal for critical test fixture applications. ESD-PEEK is not subject to dielectric breakdown.
Properties: static dissipation, low coefficient of expansion, high strength and heat resistance and is non-sloughing. ESD-PEI has a surface resistivity in the intermediate range of 106 to 10ohms/square (W/sq.). 
Surface Resistance: 107-9 ohms - Typical Applications: Hard Disk Drive, Wafer Handling
This grade is made from CNT(carbon-nano-tube) POM-C resin. It exhibits constant conductivity ranging between 106Ω ~ 109Ω with minimum changes in the physical properties of the original POM-C.
This is a composite consisting of woven glass and a static-dissipative epoxy resin system. It offers electrostatic dissipative properties (10*6 to 10*10 ohm squares).
